1. Your Code Stays on Your Device

PyPocket is a client-side application. All Python execution — including running scripts, evaluating expressions, and tracking variables — occurs locally using the Pyodide WebAssembly runtime. Whether you are writing simple Python projects for beginners or advanced data science code with pandas and matplotlib, your code never leaves your browser.

This makes PyPocket fundamentally different from server-based Python compilers. It is ideal for students who need a safe Python coding environment setup — especially when using public or school networks.

2. Local Storage Usage

To enhance your experience as a Python coding playground, PyPocket uses browser localStorage and IndexedDB to save your editor files, theme preferences (dark mode / light mode), and session state. This data is stored only on your machine and is never synced or shared with our servers. You can clear it anytime through your browser settings.

3. Advertising — Google AdSense

PyPocket is a free Python compiler supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve relevant advertisements. Google may use cookies or web beacons to serve ads based on your browsing activity. This helps keep PyPocket free for students learning Python coding basics for 11th grade, beginners exploring interactive Python learning, and developers using our mobile Python IDE daily.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

4. Analytics

We may use anonymized, aggregated analytics to understand how students and developers use PyPocket — for example, which features of our Python code executor for beginners are most used, or how many users run PyPocket as an offline Python interpreter. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected in this process.

5. Third-Party Libraries

PyPocket loads third-party libraries including Pyodide (WASM runtime), CodeMirror (editor), GSAP (animations), and Three.js (3D engine status). These are loaded from public CDNs. We do not control data practices of these CDN providers. PyPocket as a mobile Python IDE with library support also allows users to install additional Python packages via micropip — these packages are downloaded from PyPI and cached locally.

6. Children's Privacy

PyPocket is designed for all ages, including interactive Python learning for kids and school students. We do not knowingly collect personal data from users under 13. Since no account creation is required and no code is transmitted to our servers, PyPocket is inherently privacy-safe for student use.
